When I Dream of Christmas Book Review

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to have been sent some books from Top That Publishing and they have been a huge hit in the Stressy House.  The final book for review is the best one.  When I dream of Christmas, written by Oakley Graham, is a gorgeous and very visual book which is perfect for reading to toddlers and young children at this time of year.

Each double page depicts one element of Christmas and explains in very simple terms what it is; from sledging to reindeer, from Mince Pies to Christmas Lights.

It takes you on a magical journey through the different aspects of Christmas right through to the birth of the Baby Jesus at the end.  The illustrations are really lovely; simple, colourful and clear and really appealed to A who has really loved looking through and saying what each picture is.

I think the book is lovely and two year old A adored it too.  Even L who is seven quite enjoyed looking through and reading the text to his sister.  This would make a great stocking filler and I am very pleased to add it to our collection of Christmas books.

When I dream of Christmas is currently available to buy for £6.29 from Top That Publishing and while you are there, have a good look around at the other Christmas books that they have to offer as there is a great selection.

I was sent a free copy of this book for the purpose of this review.  All opinions and images are my own.
