Introducing Caralis; gentle skin and haircare products

I am quite excited to be introducing a new brand on the blog today that is also a family run local business.  Caralis produce products for the hair and skin that are gentle and all made form completely natural ingredients.  As a parent, I am extremely conscious about the hair and skin care products that I use on the children as their skin is so precious, I didn’t want to use products that contain harsh detergents and synthetic fragrances and colours and many of the big brand children’s products sadly do.  At Caralis, they wanted to use products that only contained the gentlest ingredients themselves and all of their range of products contain the highest quality bioactive ingredients.

Event though they are a new company, Caralis already have a wide range of different products ranging from skincare, bath and shower and products perfect for mums before, during and after pregnancy.  Most of the products are designed for the whole family to use and all work effectively without stripping the skin or hair of natural oils.

Caralis Review

I would have happily tried all of the products but decided to pick three that I knew would fit into our daily routine; Lavender Shampoo and Bath Wash, Lavender Hair Conditioner and Triple Oat Cream.

Caralis Review

All of the products are beautifully packaged in aluminium packaging with pump dispensers, they are easy to use and lockable too which is very useful if you have a child like mine who makes ‘potions’ and wastes all shampoos and body washes.

The first thing you notice when you use any of the Caralis products is the smell.  They all smell amazing.  Both the Lavender Shampoo and Body Wash and the Conditioner have a gorgeous smell and it really lingers on the hair after using it.  It lathers well and you only need a very small amount of both products.  It can be used on children over the age of three months and we have all tried it out over the last few weeks.  I find that it is great for evening bath time and the children love the smell and it helps calm them down before they go to bed.

After a couple of weeks of using the shampoo and conditioner, I noticed a real difference in the children’s hair, it was much lighter and healthier looking and feeling.

Caralis Review

All of my children have inherited the dry skin gene from me along with the occasionally bouts of eczema.  The Triple Oat Cream is amazing for dry skin.  A wonderful thin cream that rubs into the skin without leaving an oily residue, skin feels instantly nourished, soothed and softer.  Triple Oat Cream contains a range of natural ingredients that not only moisturise but also can reduce inflammation and itching. I love this cream and found that it left my skin feeling really soft and eliminated any dry skin patches .

I am really impressed with the Caralis products and the children loved trying them out.  I  would absolutely buy them again both for me and my family to use and I am keen to try out some of the other products too such as the Chocolate Orange Lip Balm and the Lavender Moisturising Cream.

I really recommend you take a look at the Caralis website and they are offering readers a 25% discount off all individual products.  Add the code StressyMummy@25%off to redeem your discount.

I was sent the Caralis products for the purpose of this review.  All opinions are my own.

This type of product really appeals to me. Both me and my daughter suffer from dry skin problems, therefore finding something to soothe and nourish at the same time has always been difficult. I’ll be taking a look at the website very soon, thanks so much for the suggestion and great review!

Syd suffers from eczema and I am always on the look out for products that are gentle on the skin – he gets very jealous of his bigger siblings bubble baths! The triple oat cream sounds good for flare ups too.

It’s great that you’re getting the word out for a local business. I love the look of the products, they look expensive and it sounds like they’re good products too. 🙂
