My daughter has been fascinated by Bunchems for a while now and everytime she sees them, she asks me how they work.  A few weeks ago, we were sent the Bunchems Mega Pack to review and finally, she was able to not only see how they work, but also make some interesting creations.

The Bunchems Mega Pack contains 370 Bunchems and over 30 accessories. Bunchems are little spiky plastic balls and they cleverly stick to each other.  To create sculptures with them, you simple squash them together and they stick making them perfect to create a whole range of 3D shapes and models.  But the real beauty is that once you have finished, you can pull them apart easily, ready to use them all over again.

The set comes with a booklet of model ideas to help inspire your creativity.  We had a go at making the owl and we were  pleased with the result.

What I like about Bunchems are that they are easy to use and encourage creativity. Children can use the set to create the models suggested or they can use their imaginations to make other things too.  It is also a great toy to encourage indepedent play. I sat with my daughter and helped her with the owl, but then she carried on for ages after, creating different things and then when she had finished, she was able to pull them apart and pack them all away.

Bunchems get a big thumbs up from us and I can see that this easy to use children’s craft will be used to make lots of different creations.

We were sent this toy in return for the review.  All opinions are our own.

Ooh I’ve never heard of these but they remind me of a more grown up and smarter kind of stickle brick. I’m starting to think about Birthday presents for Z. Wonder if he’d like these!
