My final gift guide for the festive season is filled with affordable gift ideas for bloggers. Of course, most bloggers love tech and gadgets and I could fill my guide with lots of amazing phones, computers, cameras and more but I have gone for the simpler things. Things that make nice props for images, nice stationery and a few things that would be lovely if you work full time from home. All of them would be on my Christmas list that is for sure.
Backdrops and layouts
We all like to take photos, don’t we? I, for one, am always on the lookout for things to use as backdrops and props and whilst I am quite creative, there are lots of lovely things that would be perfect for the job. I recently discovered the Backdrop Store (1) on Capture by Lucy’s gorgeous blog. She is the queen of creative photography and she has created a range of tabletop size vinyl photography backdrops suitable for creatives and perfect for bloggers. I recently treated myself to one and I have about five more (at least) on my wishlist, they are durable and easy to store and cost £29.95.
kikki-K is another site that I have just discovered and as a self-confessed stationery obsessive, I have to say that it is an absolute joy. So many beautiful things and I could spend an absolute fortune. Apart from a gorgeous selection of notebooks, journals and calendars, they have lots of lovely sets of quote cards which are lovely to make a display out of and also useful as photo props too. The Set of 12 Love Life cards (2)are all pastel shades with motivational messages and even comes with a wooden display stand for £12. Alternatively, you might like the Inspiration Kit (5) which offers 10 different designed inspirational messages. If you love stationery, you must visit kikki-K, you won’t be disappointed.
The White Letter Board (3) from online homewares store Magpie is a piece of retro loveliness. It is a white letter board with a black aluminium frame, with 286 black ¾ inch letters and numbers. It comes boxed and ready to hang and at 45cm x 30cm it is a great size for writing menus, messages, lists and more. We absolutely love it already and it is always nice to use something that is not digital. It has huge potential to be used as a memo or ideas board for blog posts or as a prop in photos. The White Letter Board is priced at £45.
I also really like the Felt Letter Board (4) which is available in three different colours and each one comes with 350 vintage style letters. The Felt Letter Board is available from Letteroom at Not On The High Street.
The bold, bright messages on the Hello Notecard Set (6) from Tatty Devine are enough to make anyone smile. The Hello Notecard Set comprises a yellow keepsake box which includes 12 blank notecards, 12 silver glitter envelopes and colourful charm stickers. These would be gorgeous to send to people but also perfect photo props too.
Chase and Wonder have the most wonderful collection of stationery and gifts. A British company, their designs are eye-catching and unique. Their notebooks are beautiful and perfect for any stationery addict. The Art Deco notebooks certainly caught my eye, in particular, the Diamonds (7) with a gold foiled embossed cover with a pattern inspired by the Art Deco period. It is perfect for jotting down ideas and small enough to fit in your bag and I just love the design. The Art Deco Diamonds Notebook costs £8.
Block Perpetual Calendar (8) which is really handy but also adds some colour to your desk for £16.50. Alternatively, every blogger needs one of the Block PegBoards (9), they are so useful to hang things on and also make great displays for photos. Block PegBorads are also available from Red Candy and they are a variety of colours and sizes. Prices start at £40.If you want to add some colour to your office space, Red Candy will be the place to visit as their site is filled with colourful and unique ideas to add colour to every room in the house. On my Christmas list, this year is this
Pen Heaven have some beautiful journals and notebooks which can all be personalised. I have a couple of Pen Heaven journals already and they are beautifully made with thick, good quality pages. But what I really love about the Pen Heaven journals and diaries are the covers, many of which are leather, which give the journals a solid and quality feel to them. The Sorrento Large Leather Journal (10) is no exception. It comes in a choice of 10 colours and the cream pages can be lined or plain and you can have initials or messages embossed on the cover to give it a really personal touch. Pen Heaven has a wide range of journals, diaries, notebooks, pens and gifts.
Still on the theme of personalised stationery, I have only just discovered GiftPup and I am really glad that I have. They have a range of gift ideas for the whole family all of which can be personalised. I fell in love with the Pink Hugs and Kisses Notebook (11) which is a really fun notebook and great value at just £7.99.
Working from Home
If you are looking for an inexpensive treat for your feet, Foot Nourishing Sock Packs (12) from Superdrug are a revelation. If you have tired feet, Foot Packs are like face packs for your feet and they are a heavenly treat. Leave them on for a few minutes and they leave tired feet feeling refreshed and moisturised. Available in Tea Tree and Peppermint or Honey and Almond, for less than £2 this is the perfect remedy after a day running around after the kids.
Firebox have a couple of genius ideas that will help with that and both are firmly on my Christmas list. Check out their Narwhal Heated Slippers (13) which I can just imagine slipping my cold feet into after a chilly school run or the very cute Toast Heated Pillow (14) which would both be perfect for the job.If you work from home, during the cooler months, it is so tempting to switch the heating on all of the time and I am always looking for things that will keep me warm without costing a fortune and
If you are anything like me, working from home means drinking an awful lot of tea. So a good mug is an essential. GiftPup have come up trumps again with this gorgeous Be Bold or Italic Latte Mug and it is a perfect size and shape for a cuppa. I absolutely love the design and the message which I am hoping will inspire me to greatness every morning. At £9.99 this is a great gift idea and it can also be personalised with the name written below the message and also on the back, so there is no excuse for anyone else to borrow your mug either. Perfect.

And for a special treat
A nice bottle of wine is always a welcome gift for me and I am a huge fan of the Gallo Family Vineyard wines as their range of wines are both delicious and affordable. At around £6 for a bottle, they have something to suit every meal or occasion and I can thoroughly recommend both the Merlot and the Pinot Grigio.
