L is lovely boy. He has the biggest smile, the loveliest cuddles and he can be the warmest and most affectionate child of them all. Until he is bored, cross or generally feeling in some way wronged. Then you have to watch out. But he loves being outdoors. If he is kept in for any length of time, he starts to behave like a caged animal. Take him out, let him play, climb and kick a rugby ball around and he is the happiest boy in the world.

Sounds like the most normal boy in the world to me! My boys are just the same, sometimes we can forget how important it is to let them be free outdoors. I like the caged animal expression, it is so true, I always say little boys are like puppies, they need to play and run free each day, it’s just how they are made and all part of growing up. I always think boys and dogs have a lot in common- both are lovely to live with as long as they have had enough fresh air and exercise!!
