I spend a lot of time in my car. Too much time. Driving to school, then to play group, then to work. On top of that are the endless drives to the supermarket and to town. We drive to Wales to see Granny and Grandpa and we always seem to choose days out that require driving too.
Luckily, I don’t mind driving and where we live in particular, there are some pretty lovely views which definitely help to pass the time; especially if I am the passenger rather than the driver. My children do get rather fed up with me and my obsession with taking photos and I am often seen pulling up on the side of the road to take a quick photo of a spectacular view accompanied by the noise of moaning and groaning coming from them in the car.
Here are a few photos that I have taken from the car.
Over at Carcraft, they are running a competition and they are asking you to share your favourite driving view and you could be in with a chance of winning a Nikon Coolpix S3500. You can email them the photo, tweet them with the hashtag #VROOMwithaview or write a blog post featuring your photo or all three. If you blog or email, you also need to write around 200 words saying why you think your view should win and why it is important to you. Entries close on 15th October.
So if you are a photo enthusiast with some nice driving view, head on over to their website and take a look.
I received a voucher for posting details about this competition.
