If my daughter could be magically transformed into a Disney Princess, she would do it in a flash. She loves all things Disney but there is something about those princesses with their stories and their dresses that is truly magical. Elsa from Frozen however has taken things to a whole new level. Over a year on from the first viewing of the film at the cinema, Frozen has weaved its magic and has become a part of our everyday life and A like many young girls wants to be Elsa.
Imagine then how happy she was to open a very special parcel last week which contained not only a beautiful Elsa dress, but also a Frozen Magic Snow Sleeve so she really could be Elsa. It was the perfect pick-me-up for the tired end of the week grouches.
Imagine a toy that means you can actually shoot magic snow from your fingertips just like Elsa does in the film. Well with the Frozen Magic Snow Sleeve you can. It is very easy to set up and use which was just as well with a very impatient five-year old who wanted to ‘let it go’. It is a pale blue plastic bracelet that shimmers and sparkles whilst cleverly concealing the canister below. It also comes with a lacy blue sleeve to be worn underneath and a water bottle that can be used as an alternative to the snow. The canister or the water bottle slots easily into the bottom of the bracelet and it contains magic white snow which is released by the wearer simply raising their finger to activate it.
“This is awesome! I really feel like Elsa!” A aged 5
A absolutely loved the Frozen Magic Snow Sleeve and had great fun making a snowy mess which is a bit like silly string and once dry it can be quickly picked or swept up (we did use ours outside) . I have to say that the canister didn’t last very long but then we switched to the refillable water bottle and she decided that squirting her brothers was the order of the day. This is a wonderful toy and any Frozen fan will love it. The RRP is £29.99.
The Rubies Elsa dress is really lovely. We have a collection of Rubies Disney Princess dresses already and like the ones we have bought before, the Elsa dress is well-made, looks amazing and is great value at just under £20.
It hasn’t escaped my little Frozen fan that there is another Frozen short film coming out later this month; Frozen Fever is a short animated sequal to the first film and will be shown with Disney’s 2015 Cinderella film. A can’t wait to go and see this over the Easter holidays and you can catch Frozen Fever and Cinderella at cinemas from 27th March 2015. You can even have a sneaky peak at Frozen Fever in the trailer below.
We were sent the Frozen Magic Snow Sleeve which is made by Flair and the Elsa dress which is made by Rubies for the purpose of the post. All opinions are out own.
