“It’s not My Little Pony, it’s MLP” declared my daughter the other day when we were discussing a possible date to see the new movie.
There is much MLP excitement in this house at the moment due to the release of the new My Little Pony: The Movie on Friday. My daughter has always been a huge fan of My Little Pony every since she was very small and she is reminding me almost hourly that I promised to take her to see the film over the half term holiday.
In the new movie, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Rarity embark on an epic journey to save Ponyville from a dark force. To get in the mood for the movie, we have been sent some amazing My Little Pony books from Egmont and it is safe to say that the books have been a huge hit with my daughter. She loves them.
To celebrate the release of the movie, Egmont has released four fun, colourful and exciting new books which MLP fans will love.
My Little Pony Movie: Search and Find with Toy is a really fun book where you follow the story of the movie while hunting the My Little Pony characters from the book. This book also includes a My Little Pony toy to help with the adventure.
The My Little Pony Movie Storybook is a perfect bedtime read.
Beautifully illustrated with images from the movie, this book helps you relive the story from the movie time and time again.
The My Little Pony Movie: 1000 Sticker Activity Book is my daughter’s kind of book. Sticker books never fail to please and she will happily spend hours happily sticking and she loved this book.
Perfect for rainy days, quiet time or for taking on long journeys, with 1000 stickers, this will keep My Little Pony fans busy for a long time. There are lots of interesting activities to do and the range of stickers will allow MLP fans to create and craft for hours.
Finally, My Little Pony Movie: Giant Sticker Storybook: with colouring relives scenes from the movie.
But some of the scenes are lacking a little colour. The job for your little MLP fans is to either find the corresponding sticker or they can colour the image in for themselves.
All of these books are already being put to good use and I know that they will help to keep my daughter busy over the half term holidays and beyond. This is the perfect collection of books for her as she loves the story but absolutely adores activity and sticker books and as all books are around the £4 – £8 mark, they are also great value and would make perfect stocking fillers too.
