I am not big when it comes to craft activities. I would love to be better at that sort of stuff, but it just isn’t really me, but one thing I can do is salt dough. So a couple of weeks ago A and I made some salt dough, cut out lots of stars, bakes them and then we sat down one afternoon and lovingly painted them.
A painted all of hers pink and then covered them with glitter paint. All very nice and she was very happy with them. I however decided to be a bit more creative. I painted them different colours, wrote the word Noel across them, added a little glitter paint and attached them to the mantelpiece.
Rustic? Very, but I liked them. My husband walked in and congratulated A on how well she had made them. Thanks for that! Merry Christmas!

Home made decorations are the best, have a great christmas xxx
They are fab! We’ve had the same idea for the theme today haha, great minds! x
They are fab! So Christmassy x
Oh they are lovely. I have not been very creative with the wee man this year but will have to get him involved next year when he is a bit older and understands what is going on!
So Christmassy. Lovely pics
I’m not very crafty either but these look easy enough to do. And very pretty too.
They’re fantastic. I want to try making some with my two this year.
I love salt dough too but do not (as I did) try to hurry things along and back them in the microwave. Any small bubbles in the dough become very large bubbles in real life.
I love your Noel garland very much and it totally does not look like a child made it.
