Once upon a time, there was a little girl who loved her mummy’s iPad just a little but too much. She discovered at a young age that pressing the pretty pictures and swooshing through the different apps was a very entertaining game.
Not happy with just using the iPad however, she knows her way around my phone and has started to take an interest in the computer. Her brothers are big fans of Club Penguin and she is fascinated by this and will happily watch them play but is now asking if she can go on. Obviously, that particular game is not suitable for her but I have started to have a look at some sites that she could use.
Once again Cbeebies is a good site for someone of A’s age as it allows her to explore with the mouse and a few keys on the keyboard and we have sat and played on that together a few times. Looking around at the variety of fun and interactive sites that are available for children, there is something for everyone. You can find websites that offers fun and educational virtual horse games, colouring, puzzles, matching and lots of games that are linked with TV shows and characters.

She sounds like little z. He’s a little expert on my iPad. He’s also declared that its now his!
I actually wonder whether my kids, particularly my eldest and my daughter, are going to be left behind as I haven’t let them have much access to technology. My younger son has more curiosity, but the other two seem to be happy to live without technology. I’m happy with that, but I’m starting to think maybe they should use it a little bit more!
