iPad Mini Detachable Keyboard and Case Review

My lovely husband bought me an iPad mini for Christmas this year and as a result I shall henceforward be calling him lovely as I love it.  After my children and him, my iPad is my favourite thing.  We did have an iPad before but it was the family iPad and constantly in use by A wanting to play on Cbeebies or watch films on it or the boys wanting to play, watch sport and check BBC Sport on it.  By the time I sat down to do some reading or blogging, not only was it smeared and disgusting, it generally had one per cent battery left and I ended up not using it at all.

So an iPad all of my own was a big treat.  I am not sharing this one under any circumstances and I will keep it clean and protected from the children at all times.

A case was top of the list and I wanted a case with a front cover that meant I could carry it around safely but also keep it tucked away when not in use.  I was also looking at keyboards as the mini is quite small and I decided that a keyboard would help if I had lots of blog posts to write.

Luckily for me, MyTrendyPhone came to my rescue and sent me a brilliant Mini iPad case with a detachable bluetooth keyboard.  MyTrendyPhone is an online retailer that sells  a huge variety of products; mobile phones, laptops, tablets, mobile and tablet accessories.

Both of my problems solved in one.  Brilliant. It is brilliant too.  Made of white leather, the iPad slots in securely on one side and the keyboard is on the other, you can close it firmly with a magnetic clasp.  If you don’t need the keyboard, it easily detaches from the case.  It is also easy to install, the iPad picks up the connection through bluetooth and you key in a code that is asks for on screen.  The keyboard can be switched on and off and it is recharged via a USB cable that is included. The keyboard itself is soft which takes a while to get used to, but once you realise that you have to type firmly, you are away.

I am really pleased with this case as it is perfect for what I need, it is smart, sturdy and functional and also being white, it blends into the background very well which will help it to be ignored by the smaller people in the house.
