Mother’s Day Gifts from My 1st Years

One of the best things about reading and writing blogs has been that it has introduced me to websites and products that I might not have previously come across and one such website is My 1st Years.

My 1st Years is a lovely website and the sort of site that makes me wish firstly that still had a baby to buy things for and secondly someone that I know would have a baby so that I could buy things for them.  My 1st Years specialise in personalised baby gifts and have a wide range of beautiful products that would make the most amazing gifts.

When I was contacted about doing a review, I spent rather too long browsing the site looking wistfully at the baby things like these gorgeous Glitter High Top Trainers which are just adorable and can be personalised too:

I was also very tempted by their range of personalised teddy bears, who could resist this lovely fellow?

Sadly however, my baby days are long gone and so my job was to review something from the Mother’s Day gift range.  There are some beautiful gift ideas and most of them can be personalised too which makes them all the more special.  I chose a Personalised Heart Bowl Set as it looked really unusual but also something that would come in really handy.

This is a really lovely set and I am so pleased with it.  It looks pretty but the dishes are really deep, making it a useful too.  We often have ‘everything on the table’ lunches and also ice cream sundae making sessions and I can see these bowls getting a lot of use.  They would also be ideal for dips or even for decoration too; my mum took an instant liking to them and cheekily said that it was a shame that it had ‘Stressy Mummy’ on it as it would look much better in her house.  You can personalise this set with any message up to 25 characters, so maybe I need to order another one with ‘cheeky mother’ on for my mum.

Whether you are looking for inspiration for Mother’s Day or for a baby gift, I would thoroughly recommend My 1st Years both for the range of products and excellent customer service, when there is a new addition among our friends and family, I will certainly be visiting the site again.
