In July we love …

Tiger Feet is my favourite new website and one that I will be returning to at least three times a year, if not more.  Tiger Feet is THE place to go if you are organising a party.  They have a huge range of party supplies for every occasion and also do fancy dress, cake decorations, balloons, gifts and wedding stationery and decorations.

We were particularly impressed by the range of children’s party supplies, as we do more than our fair share of children’s parties in this house and there really is a theme to suit everyone.  We are starting to think about birthday parties again as it is L’s 9th birthday in the summer holidays and we are having the usual debate about the best time to have it (it is not easy having a summer holiday birthday, I can tell you) but one thing we knew for sure was the theme; football.  So I looked at the selection of football party supplies and there were lots of lovely things.

For just over £25 I was really pleased with our little hoard of goodies which included a piñata in the shape of a football, a party pack for eight which includes a tablecloth, cups and plates and napkins, a 12 foot foil football birthday banner. 8 football balloons, 8 loot bags and  12 football pick candles.  I really like the party packs which for £5.25 are really good value, but our favourite thing is the piñata which was the most expensive thing at £12.75 but once it is filled with sweets and goodies, I just know that the boys will LOVE it.

Although the next birthday is L’s, my daughter’s fifth birthday is a frequent topic of conversation.  She loves all things Disney and has decided that her birthday party is going to be a Tinkerbell party as the Tinkerbell films are currently on repeat.  Even though her birthday isn’t until December, I have created a Pinterest board to start collecting ideas for the party and I spotted that Tiger Feet have Disney Fairies as one of their themes and I couldn’t resist the Disney Fairies Bonus Party Pack that was on special offer for £9.99 and includes ten cups and plates, twenty napkins, a table cloth and ten pink balloons.

This is a great value set and A is thrilled with it, although she keeps asking if we can use them for lunch, so whether or not the set will last until December I don’t know.  At least I know that Tiger Feet have a great range if I need any more things in the mean time.

I am really impressed with Tiger Feet, there is huge choice and lots of the products are great value too which is a huge help when you are trying to keep to a budget.  With great customer service with the option of online help if you need it and quick delivery, if you are planning a party of any kind, I recommend checking out Tiger Feet, you won’t be disappointed.

I am a self-confessed stationery addict and I am always swooning over notebooks in particular, so when I was approached by Personalise.co.uk to review one of their personalised notebooks, I didn’t have to think too long and hard about my answer.  Personalise.co.uk do a great range of personalised gifts and the personalised notebooks are a brilliant idea.  Whilst I was looking for something for me, I saw this and I knew that I would have to get this for the little Chelsea fan in the house.

How cool is that?  L is a massive Chelsea fan and as it is his 9th birthday in the summer, I thought that this would be perfect for him as he, like me, also loves notebooks and can often be found writing down lists, football scores or stories in his notebook.  He will love this.  There are of course other teams available too.

I am a firm believer that everyone needs a good notebook in their lives and these would make excellent gifts.

Tobar have brought out a fantastic range of crafty books just in time for the Summer holidays.  There are 11 to choose from and include learning to juggle, magic tricks, nail art, balloon modelling, fashion designing and dinosaurs.  Priced between £4.99 and £9.99 these books include detailed instructions and everything you need to try out your new craft.  I chose the Friendship Bracelets book as I knew that this was something that A would like.

This book is really cute.  It has easy to follow instructions to make a range of different friendship bracelets and comes with different coloured threads and accessories too which are in a resealable case.

A is only four and we did try and make the bracelets together but in the end I made them and she ‘helped’.  We have made three bracelets so far and this is her favourite so far;

These books are a great idea and would make the perfect summer holiday treat to keep the children occupied for a few hours.
