I haven’t been out with my camera for a while but there is something about the colours of Autumn that I can’t resist. The summer is slowly fading, there is a crisp feel to the air and for me it is the best time of the year to go out exploring. I just love the contrasting colours and textures.
I also love the fiery sunsets and moody skies as the winter nights approach and the nights are drawing in.
For the children, their favourite thing is harvesting as many shiny brown conkers as they can find.

These really are beautiful photos! I was thinking only yesterday I wanted to go out with my camera to take some autumn pics. There is definitely something special about the sky at this time of year – the sunrises and sunsets seem to be much more vivid.
