Signs of Spring

There is something amazing about Spring.  After weeks or months of cold and dark mornings, I am loving waking up with daylight flooding through the cracks in the curtains and everyone seems happier when there is a bit of sunshine and sunlight.  The children can get outside again and there is a general feeling of happiness wherever we go.

Last weekend, we took the opportunity to make the most of the sunshine with a trip to the park and I explored the orchard near by, which is one of my favourite places to take the children and my camera as there is so much to explore and capture.  I wanted to find a few signs of spring and I found them everywhere; blossom, blooms and buds, all set off by the backdrop of a beautiful blue sky.  Perfect.
