I find it very hard to say no to chocolate, so when I was asked if I would like to sample some of the amazing range of organic Seed and Bean chocolate bars, I was secretly quite excited. Chocolate for me. Chocolate that looked suitable of grown-ups, that I could try in the comfort of my chair when the children had gone to bed.
If you have never heard of Seed and Bean chocolate, I recommend you take a look as they have the most amazing range of flavours such as lemon and poppy seed, Sicilian Hazelnut, Cornish sea salt, raspberry and coconut and lavender to name just a few. 100% organic and ethically sourced and produced, everything about this chocolate is amazing and when my samples arrived, I tucked them away safely out of sight, waiting for the perfect moment to try them.
My children all love chocolate and anything made out of or with chocolate disappears at a rapid rate, so I wasn’t being mean by hiding this but I figured that we all deserve a little indulgence sometimes.
All three bars looked and sounded delicious; extra dark chocolate with mint, just ginger and the one that I particularly like the look of; raspberry and vanilla.
Then I made a fatal mistake. I took a few chunks out of each packet to try to photograph and in the rush to pick the kids up from school, I left them out. Fatal. The kids came home and I was rushing around getting them all fed, bathed and sorting homework and it was only when I finally sat down when they were in bed, that I remembered the chocolate. I made myself a cup of tea and searched for the bar of raspberry and vanilla. It was nowhere to be seen.
The other two were there, so I had a few chunks which were lovely but I kept thinking about the raspberry and vanilla. My husband denied all knowledge and so I questioned the children over breakfast the next day.
Immediately R looked sheepish. Apparently, maths homework is a lot better if you have a bar of Seed and Bean raspberry and vanilla to munch on. He had spotted it and thinking that it smelt amazing, tried a few squares and then before he knew it, it had all gone. He did apologise and said that as I had left it out, he assumed that it was for anyone to eat.
He did look very sorry and I couldn’t stay angry with him for long. It was only a bar of chocolate after all. It must have been good too as he keeps asking me when I can get some more and insisting that him doing good homework depends on it. When I do, however, I will be sure to buy double of everything and find a much better hiding place for my bars.
We were sent three bars of Seed and Bean chocolate to try. All opinions and images are our own.

I love how suddenly it was all gone. Exactly how chocolate consumption happens in my house!

I’ve been lucky enough to try Seed and Bean chocolate already and can confirm that it’s scrummy. My personal favourite was the Espresso bar – this was hidden in a very secret location that I’m not going to share with anyone!
Can’t leave choc or anything delicious anywhere in our house…Someone will find it lol. These looks great though! 😀
Yes it is exactly the same here; either the children or my husband, they are all as bad as each other
Oh these look AMAZING! I’ve been hunting for some decent, high quality chocolate and this looks just the ticket. x

It really is amazing but you do need to hide it if you don’t want to share
