Have I mentioned that I love stationery? Just a few times. I am what is fondly known as a ‘stationery addict’ and I usually have to be dragged kicking and screaming past my favourite stationery shops by my family who all tell me repeatedly that I do not need any more notebooks. (You can’t have too many notebooks can you?)
I am really proud to be involved in National Stationery Week which celebrates all things stationery starting today and each day there is a different theme. It is all about encouraging people to write which is a hugely important message in this digital age.
So today is pen and pencil day which got me thinking about the large collection we have in this house. We have pens and pencils for the children, pens and pencils that my husband uses for school work, nice pens and pencils that are mainly mine and a large array of colouring pens and pencils. I have pots in every room (I usually use old mugs as pen pots) and so I pulled a few together so that I could show you my pen and pencil collection and here it is;
Quite an impressive collection isn’t it? This also doesn’t include the pens and pencils in sets and the pens and pencils in the children’s school pencil cases.
I think I am a stationery addict.

Brilliant array of stationery! I love collecting pens and notebooks. Enjoy National Stationery Week!

Thank you, I really have enjoyed it; any excuse to buy a new notebook and I am there
Oh my flipping word! That is seriously impressive/ crazy. I will keep this to show my husband next time he asks why I need 13 biros!

Thank you, we do seem to collect a rather silly amount, the kids all like different sorts of pens too and my husband brings loads home from school. If anyone ever says they can’t find I pen, I just give them a withering look
