Le Toy Van Fruit Smoothie Blender

Kitchens and Play Food from the The Wooden Toy Shack
Wooden toys have been a big part of all of my children’s early years; from cars and trains to kitchens and food, tool sets, dolls houses, shops, puppet theatres, we have seen a whole range of wooden toys pass through and many of them have been well used and much-loved.  The thing about wooden toys are that they allow children to really use their imaginations, they are appealing to children with their bright colours and they appeal to parents as there are no batteries, no noise and they are built to last.
hello
A is nearly six but she still loves her wooden toy collection, in particular her play shop/cafe and collection of wooden food and drink.  She regularly sits behind her ‘counter’ and plays shops or makes us all plates of food to eat.   I knew that she would love the range of toys at The Wooden Toy Shack, particularly the kitchen and play food.  There are some wonderful ideas such as an ice cream sundae, a food mixer, a cookie set and a pizza set.  However, when it came to choosing something to review, I knew straight away which set to choose; the Le Toy Van Fruit Smoothie Blender.  I have a NutriBullet and most mornings make myself a smoothie.  A is fascinated by this process and is often pretending to make smoothies for me, so I knew this set would be perfect.

Le Toy Van Fruit Smoothie Blender is a gorgeous play set that comprises a blender with moveable dial and lid, two finished smoothies with straws, 6 pieces of wooden fruit and a knife.  The fruit are all split into two and can be ‘cut’ using the knife and fix back together with velcro.

A absolutely loves this set and was quickly chopping the fruit and making everyone smoothies within minutes of taking it out of the packaging.

The set is so simple, yet A has already had hours of fun out of it.  It fits in well with other sets that she has and she has now decided that her cafe is a smoothie cafe and she is ‘experimenting’ with different flavours.  I’m not too sure about her latest addition; cheese and pepper smoothies.

Wooden Smoothie MakerLike other Le Toy Van toys that we have had in the past, the set is extremely well made, the colours are vivid and appealing and the attention to detail is amazing.

The finished smoothieIt is a great set for tackling the topic of healthy eating and fruit and vegetables and it is great to see A practising her cutting skills with the knife.

The Le Toy Van Fruit Smoothie Blender is a really fun and engaging toy and I know that A will get lots of entertainment out of it.  At the time of posting, the set is available from The Wooden Toy Shack for £38.95 and it would make a great stand alone set or the perfect addition to a play kitchen.

Wooden toys are a huge hit here too and the smoothie blender does look a lot of fun, especially with all its bright colours.
