If you look around my small, yet perfectly formed shoe collection, you will notice a certain theme running throughout; they are mostly from Hotter. Boots, shoes, more shoes, I absolutely love Hotter. The love affair began in the summer of 2013 and over two years later, I haven’t looked back. I can still remember my first pair of Hotter shoes, they were a pair of Gaby wedges, much higher and far more elegant than my usual choice of shoe, I was absolutely shocked to find how comfortable they were. That is the Hotter moment. That moment when you sink your feet into a pair of their shoes and you know that they are made for you, no discomfort, no breaking in, they simply fit and feel good. Hotter really do make shoes to fall in love with.
Not long after, I had my first pair of Shake shoes and they were the first of many. Shake is a simple but smart-looking style of shoe and it works with both smart and casual outfits. It works perfectly for me for work as I am on my feet all day and it is comfortable, flat and looks stylish too. Shake is still my Hotter shoe of choice and there are lots of colours available so you can choose a pair for every outfit. Every time I put on a new pair of Shake shoes, I have a Hotter moment.
Last week, I was invited to Hotter in Cheltenham to preview their latest range and it was the perfect time to try on lots of shoes and to pick my favourite pair for the coming season. The colours this season are gorgeous and very much on trend with the colours in the high street clothes shops. As always with Hotter stores, the staff were amazing. This isn’t a store where they just ask your size and they leave you with a pair of shoes, they are all very passionate about brand and that shows in the way they make sure that you have exactly the right size and right style to suit you.
As always, there are so many styles to choose from, some old favourites and lots of new styles and colours too. However, I knew pretty much as soon as I walked in the door, which pair would be coming home with me; the Belle boots. Knee high boots in super-soft nubuck leather with adjustable calf fitting, extra cushioning, extra grip sole and full length inside zip for easy wear, these boots look and feel amazing. Hotter have also listened to customers and added the adjustable calf fitting and extra stretch to their high boots and for me, this is amazing as I have tried on lots of knee-high boots and not been able to zip them up.
I was so thrilled when I tried them on and they fitted perfectly. Possibly my best Hotter moment yet. I have already worn them to work and I can say that they are so comfortable that even having worn them all day, I don’t want to take them off. Amazing.
The Belle boots weren’t the only boots to catch my eye either. Hotter have a gorgeous range of ankle boots this season too such as the Vanity boots which are very much on trend with the zip feature and I love the rich purple colour.
The Moonstone boots also caught my eye as I could easily find a place for them in my wardrobe which the pretty bow feature and a small heel to give you a little bit of height.
The Liberty boots are so soft and comfortable and I completely fell in love with the deep teal colour. Perfect for the colder weather, these boots would be perfect to get you through the winter.
If, like me, you are looking for the perfect knee-high boot, my next choice would have been the Shreya which are a new style for this season. Shreya has a unique stretch zip on the inside leg along with an adjustable zip at the back with bellows tongue for extra calf width. In both leather and nubuck in black and a gorgeous nubuck chocolate-brown, I was very tempted by the brown and may have to add them to my Christmas list this year.
My final favourite from the boots is the Narelle which is an ankle boot. Made with soft leather, this boot has a nice heel and I love the banded stitch design which is prettily finished off with a flower embellishment. Available in black, tan and a gorgeous grey, I would struggle to choose which colour I liked the most as they are all lovely.
If you want something with a heel then Hotter have a lovely range of heeled shoes for this season and unlike any heels that I have tried before, their heels are so light and comfortable, you feel as though you are wearing flat shoes. Two styles that caught my eye were the Viviene Heels and the Liliana Heels. Both pairs are super stylish and elegant and would be perfect for work or going out.
Shake is definitely my go to shoe if I am looking for something flat, but I also liked the look of the Audrey shoe which new to this season, is made of soft leather with flexible soles with a nice stitch design.
So those are my top picks from Hotter’s Autumn Winter collection but there are lots more to choose from. I keep hearing really good things about this brand but never ever tried them. I always have trouble finding boots and the adjustable calf sounds so good! Will have to look on their site!
You really are the queen of Hotter! Glad your new boots are so comfy. It’s interesting that you’ve highlighted completely different styles to me. It proves they really do make something for everyone!
Good to see you there the other day.
