An interesting title for a post isn’t it? Read on and it will all become clear.
It has been a while since one of the children has said something funny enough to share on here, but this week my daughter came out with an absolute classic.
A is six now and a complete chatterbox. So much so, she barely stops for breath. I love hearing her chatter (most of the time) and she is always asking me questions about things that I say and things that she hears.
We were away last week in Devon and we were sat one evening talking about our day when A announced that it was Dave’s shampoo. She looked very pleased with herself and we al looked at each other wondering what on earth she was on about.
“Dave’s shampoo?” I said to her. “What is Dave’s shampoo?”
“You know, Dave’s shampoo.”
I was mystified. “Who’s Dave?” I asked. We don’t really know anyone called Dave.
“You do know mummy, you were talking about it the other day, Dave’s shampoo.”
No. I definitely would remember Dave’s shampoo, I’m sure I would.
“Yes, you said it meant something that you had seen before.”
There it was. Deja vu. I remembered that we had been talking about it the other day.
Deja vu, Dave’s shampoo, of course. It did make us all chuckle. A lot.
hahaha! That did make me chuckle.
