I am still on my quest to find clothes for my six-year-old daughter that are feminine, practical and aren’t too teen looking for her as she is now wearing aged 9 – 10 clothes and I have been really lucky to find some great brands whose clothing ranges fit the brief perfectly. Today’s post features a new brand to us: St. Bert’s, and I love both their clothes and the philosophy behind the company.
St. Bert’s is a family run business, set up when a husband and wife saw a gap in the market for kid’s clothes for cool, comfortable clothing that was classic enough to stand the test of time, durable enough to be washed regularly and to take whatever children would throw at them and finally unisex so that clothes could be passed between brothers and sisters.
All of St. Bert’s clothes are brightly coloured and there is a real day on the beach feel to them, with vibrant colours, bold logos and comfortable looking style. The first thing you notice about the clothes however is the quality. They are made from the softest materials and the t-shirt in particular is beautifully soft and so well-made.
My daughter couldn’t wait to try them on. Even though she will usually be found wearing dresses, she loves shorts in the summer and as she loved the colours of both the t-shirt and the shorts. The t-shirt was a big hit, she loved the softness and the length of the sleeves. The shorts were also a big success and she liked the adjustable tie at the front so that they fitted perfectly.
I will definitely be returning to St. Bert’s again for clothes for my daughter and I have recommended them to a few friends with boys too as they clothes are fun, fabulous quality and a really fresh looking all at affordable prices (at the time of posting the t-shirt featured is £16 and the shorts are £18). All of the St. Bert’s clothes are perfect for play, chilling or sport and with such a fabulous range of colours, your only problem will be which colour to choose.

This looks great. My daughter is wearing clothes far bigger then her age & it makes me sad that she can’t wear the lovely stuff on the high street as it changes to far too grown up for my liking. So we usually stick to boden & Frugi sales but I’ll check these out too. 🙂

I’m loving your quest to find age-appropriate clothing for your daughter. Even though my daughter is much older, I’m still not ready to let her dress like a teenager.
I haven’t heard of St Berts either, but they look right up our street! I will have to take a look at their website.
