Would we like to do a Puppy in my Pocket Review?
Let me think … small toys in sets which encourage imaginative play, collectible sets that you can easily add to, very cute puppies. Yes, yes we would. Puppy in my Pocket ticks all of the boxes where toys for my daughter are concerned. She absolutely loves small toys and the puppies from the set measure no more than an inch, so these are perfect and there are lots of different puppies to collect.
If you think that Puppy in my Pocket sounds familiar, you may well remember them, as they have been around since the nineties although this new generation is better than ever.
You can start your Puppy in my Pocket collection with blind packs. Inside each colourful foil packet, you will find one seriously cute puppy. There are over 100 in the series to collect including some ultra-rare glitter puppies and my daughter was really excited to tear open the pack and find out who was inside. Priced around £2.49, these are a perfect for treats or to spend pocket-money on. Each puppy is based on a real breed and has its own name. The puppies are soft to touch, with incredibly realistic detail and each has such a cute face, they are very hard to resist.
Along with the blind packs, there are a range of play sets to encourage your little ones to really engage in imaginative play with the pups. The Puppies and Clip-On Pouch set contains five puppies and a clip on pouch which is see-through so that you can take your puppies wherever you go and show them off to your friends. The set costs around £9.99 and comes in three colours. My daughter loved the idea of this and can often be seen with the pouch clipped on to her somewhere and always with a different puppy on display inside. Apparently, this is her way of walking her puppies.
The real fun began when we opened up the Puppy in my Pocket Dog Park Playset. It includes two puppies; Titus the English Mastiff and Jackson the very cute Labradoodle and along with their other furry friends, they can play on the tyre-swing, seesaw, jump the hurdle, climb up and slide down the swing and more and there is even a bone dispenser which A loves as she can feed the pups too when they have finished playing.
It is a robust play set and my daughter loves all of the different elements. Priced at around £19.99 it is good value too as it has certainly given my daughter hours of play so far.
My daughter also loves to include the puppies in her play with her other toys and they have been pets for her LEGO figures and other dolls as well as playing with them on their own.
Overall, I have been really impressed with Puppy in my Pocket, my daughter loves that they are soft and cute to look at and she loves being able to play with them in the park play set. The blind packs make it easy to add the collection and A has been working very hard to earn some extra money so that she can buy another blind pack this weekend and add to her collection. Kitty in my Pocket is planned for release later this year and I know already that they will be high up on my daughter’s Christmas.
