Celebrate National Pet Month with L.O.L. Surprise! Pets

I have a fully-fledged L.O.L. Surprise! obsessive in this house in the shape of my eight-year-old daughter.  She adores them and has got quite a collection now from the different series and she spends hours playing with them and their accessories. Our most recent review of the new L.O.L. Surprise! Confetti Pop was a huge hit with my daughter and when she found out that there was a new range of L.O.L. Surprise! Pets, that was next on ‘must-have’ list.

Luckily for her, we were sent one to review and perfect timing too as this month is in fact, National Pet Month. So what better month to bring a new pet into the house.  But what would her new L.O.L. Surprise! Pet be?

They are all so cute, I think she would have been pretty happy with any of them. Dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters all with L.O.L. Surprise! style and of course, like the dolls, cool accessories come as standard.

Fans of the L.O.L. Surprise! dolls will immediately recognise the L.O.L. Surprise! Pets, as they come in the same style of packaging.  The ball is slightly smaller but you go through the same process of unzipping and unwrapping each layer and there are seven layers of cute surprises to be discovered.  There are a few similarities to the dolls but also a few surprises along the way too.

My little L.O.L. Surprise fan couldn’t wait to start unzipping and she quickly discovered a clue to her new pet, closely followed by some stickers.  After that, came a pooper scooper although I did have to explain to her what it was.  An over-sized pair of white glasses and a drinks bottle were soon unwrapped, followed by a rather interesting lidded plastic tub filled with coloured sand; a litter tray.  Using the pooper scooper, she then had to dig out two pairs of very cute and stylish shoes from the sand.  Last but not least it was time to unwrap the pet.  We are now the very proud owners of the cutest bunny rabbit in town.  According to the collector’s poster, which is also included, she is called Hop Hop and she is very sweet.

The surprises don’t stop when you have finished unwrapping either as many of the pets have a secret to share when you play with them in water too.

What we love about the L.O.L. Surprise! Pets is that like the dolls, they are such fun to unwrap and even more fun to play with. You can play with the L.O.L. Surprise! Pets with the dolls and all of the accessories can be mixed and matched. 

The RRP of L.O.L. Surprise! Pets is around £10 and it is great value for money.  There is the excitement of unwrapping each layer, the excitement of finding out what happens to the pet in water and then, of course, the fun of playing with it.  My daughter also liked the litter tray and said that it was really fun digging out the shoes.  Apparently, it felt like a lucky dip.

We love L.O.L. Surprise! Pets and think they are a great addition to the L.O.L. Surprise! family. You can collect them, swap them, play with them.
