I recently discovered Ginger Fox when I reviewed their amazing game Dough Nab a few weeks ago. We absolutely loved playing the game and couldn’t wait to try some of their other games.
Christmas in this house is one time when we do sit down as a family and play some games, it is all part of the family fun. Ginger Fox have some amazing games to add to your collection this Christmas, all sure to add even more fabulous festive fun. What we love about the games that we have tried out is that they are all something a little bit different, they are all small, so easy to take with you if you are off visiting and they are all absolutely hilarious. And we all need some more laughter in our lives, don’t we? The other thing that is great about these games is the price, many of the games are under £10 so perfect for stocking fillers or Secret Santa presents.
Mince Spies
What a brilliant name for a festive game? Mince Spies is a rather clever idea as it contains 18 Christmas coasters. On one side there is a Christmas pie and when you turn it over, there is a secret mission such as snort every time you laugh or keep spontaneously breaking into different accents at random. The aim is to complete your secret mission without anyone guessing what it is. This is such a great game, perfect for the festive period and is sure to get everyone laughing too.
Mince Spies (RRP £6) is suitable for 3 or more players and is recommended for players aged 14 and over.
Bump This
Another really fun game, Bump This comes in a tin that contains 75 cards plus the rules of the game. On each card is a different type of handshake and the idea is that you pass that handshake onto the next person. This can be hilarious as you can imagine and such a simple but fun idea. If you get wrong you’re out but to be honest, it is such fine that no-one takes it too seriously. This would be a great game to do around the table after Christmas lunch.
Bump This (RRP £12.50) is suitable for two or more players and is recommended for players aged 8 and over.
Space Dash
Space Dash is a card game that can be played at any time of the year and this is one that will bring out the competitive side in everyone as speed is what you need. Containing 120 cards depicting the different stages of a rocket launch, the object of the game is to collect put together complete sets of sequence cards and be the first one to get rid of all of their cards. Fast, frantic and lots of fun.
Space Dash (RRP £8) is suitable for 3 – 6 players and is recommended for players aged 8 and over.
5 Gold Rings Card Game
Ginger Fox also have a range of licensed card games and we were very excited to give the 5 Gold Rings Card Game a try as we absolutely love the TV program and always play along on the app. The game contains 116 questions, image cards, ring card, score card, black hole card, lifeline card, team token cards and the all important rules. There is a lot packed into a very small box. The game is based on the TV program and players have 30 seconds to find a point on an image and put a ring on it. This is a great fun game, perfect for Christmas but also can be played at any time of the year.
5 Gold Rings Card Game (RRP £6) is suitable for any number of players and recommended for players aged 14 and over.
The Golf Mug
Ginger Fox do not just make great games, they also have a range of different books and gift ideas. Their collection of mugs is amazing with Pac-Man, a Peanut Butter Cupcake mug with the recipe on the outside, Ridiculously Rude Plants mug and more. If you have a golf fan in your life, they will love the Golf Mug (RRP £12). Not only is this a fun mug to drink your coffee from but with it comes with a mini golf club and ball and you can either practise your gold moves through the arch at the bottom of the mug or sit the mug on its angled handle and try and hit the ball into the mug (just make sure you have finished your coffee first!)
