“There are never enough hours in the day!” How often do you find yourself saying that? I seem to say it more and more recently but particularly on a Sunday.
I love Sundays. Well at least I always really look forward to them. They are the one day during the week where there are no sporting commitments (yet) or work commitments. They are our designated family days where we have always tried to keep it free to enjoy at least one day of quality family time before the madness of Monday arrives again and I roll up my sleeves ready for the onslaught of the week to come.
How do you spend your Sundays?

We have tried to keep Sundays free but it is impossible. I have done four loads of laundry today as it was sunny and windy so everything dried quickly on the line but we also managed a barbeque, digging in the garden and watching the Grand Prix. We have just decided that we have to do all the ‘jobs’ together too otherwise we have a lovely time but nothing gets done.
I spent mine today sitting on a cricket field while the other half played. Wine in one hand, book in the other,
Bliss
Ours are always busy and I always feel disappointed when I get to evening and haven’t spent what I feel is enough quality time with my children. Never mind do all the things I need to get done x
I hate Sundays! For eight months of the year they are dominated by rugby, but for the remaining four I would like to have nice family days out. But instead we are doing homework or sorting out the house. And at the end of the day I go through my bottomless drawer of letters from school and I write a load of cheques. And my husband always goes to work Sunday evenings – well before the kids are in bed, so I get some nice solo parenting into the bargain. Did I mention that I hate Sundays?!
Saturdays are usually the family day for us, Sundays often have the grocery shop arriving, and the laundry washing, and most weeks DH takes the girls out to see his parents or friends for a few hours while I get alone time to do some tidying – I’ve given up trying to tidy with children in the house, it’s too frustrating!
