Last minute Easter Eggs from Thorntons

Would we like some chocolate to review?

It took me about thirty seconds to answer that question.

We are big fans of Thorntons in this house; the children love their chocolate and for the grown ups it is always the toffee.  Sadly our local Thorntons shop closed last year and the children really miss their fix of chocolate lollipops when we went shopping so when a large box filled with Thornton’s Easter goodies this morning, they were bouncing and couldn’t wait to choose an egg to sink their teeth into.

Choosing an Easter egg

Thorntons is always on my list of places to visit before Easter, they have an excellent range of Easter eggs and chocolates and if you are shopping in store, they offer a service where you can have a name or a message iced onto the front of any egg free of charge.  I love this idea and we always have an egg iced for the grandparents which always go down well.  I also like the fact that a lot of their eggs are just chocolate which is great if you have a fussy person in the house like L who likes chocolate but never likes the other things that come with Easter eggs.

All of the children have already chosen an Easter egg and tucked in and I don’t think that any of them will be around for long.  All of the children said that they were delicious and little Miss A enjoyed hers so much, she was covered in it.

So if you are looking for some inspiration for Easter, I can recommend Thorntons and there are lots of great offers on their website at the moment and you can even check out their blog which has some interesting articles about all things chocolate.

Thank you to Thorntons for sending us these amazing Easter Eggs for the purpose of this review.  All opinions and images are our own.
