10 reasons to love Hotter Shoes #ilovehotter

Hotter LogoWho could resist an evening of shoes, shoes, boots and more shoes with some chat and food thrown in for good measure? Well not me, that’s for sure. Shoesie Tuesdays are blogger evenings held by Hotter, where they invite a few bloggers to learn a little bit more about the brand and spend some time trying on the shoes and boots from their current range.

I am a huge fan of Hotter shoes and it is a brand that I was very glad to discover through blogging. I now wear Hotter shoes pretty much constantly and so I was very excited to visit their Solihull store a couple of weeks ago to get a glimpse of their new Autumn/Winter range.  It was great fun and I was in heaven to be surrounded bys such lovely shoes and to be able to take the time to try them on without any children moaning at me or demanding my attention.

It was a lovely evening and here is my definitive guide to why I love Hotter and would recommend a visit to Hotter, the next time you are looking for some new footwear.

Hotter shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn.

Fact. You know that feeling when you slip your feet into a much loved comfortable pair of shoes?  It just feels right and for me that is the Hotter experience.  As soon as I put them on they feel  like I had always worn them; no blisters, no discomfort, no problem. I love them and having worn them regularly for teaching, I think all teachers should wear Hotter shoes as they are perfect if you are on your feet all day. Ironically, Hotter originally made slippers and now they make shoes that are as comfortable as slippers.

The comfort is all down to the Hotter Comfort Concept.  They have a secret ingredient; soles filled with air bubbles which combined with flexible soles and super soft, breathable leather make their shoes so comfortable and easy to wear.

Hotter shoes are bang on trend

If you are under the misconception that Hotter shoes are old-fashioned, you would be wrong.  The current Autumn and Winter collection have some amazing styles that are in line with current fashion trends. The colours and styles are perfect for the coming season and with hints of fur and folk which make them stand out from the crowd. This season sees the return of wedges which I love and they are all super comfortable as well as stylish.

Hotter Moray Boots

Hotter have something for everyone

Whatever you are looking for, Hotter have it all; heels or flats, shoes or boots, trainers or sandals. You can find something to dress up for a night out or some trainers or boots that are perfect for the school run. My own personal Hotter collection is a varied one with a few pairs of flat shoes that I love for everyday wear, a gorgeous pair of wedge sling backs that are perfect for summer nights out and a pair of boots that I wore nearly every day during the Winter.

Shoes that are made to last

My own personal experience of Hotter shoes and boots are that they are extremely well made and they really do last.  I have worn some pairs daily in a range of weather conditions and places and they are still in amazing condition.  I polish them and protect them, which helps but they have held their shape and are still as comfortable as they were the first time I wore them.

The staff are amazing

One thing that struck me at our Shoesie Tuesday was how amazing the staff were.  They were giving up their evening to run around after a load of bloggers and they did a fantastic job.  Not only were they helpful, but they know all of the shoes, which sizes are suitable and they are all really passionate about the brand which I loved.  One of the assistants was so enthusiastic about some of the styles that she convinced me to try them on despite the fact that they would not have normally been on my radar.  They were amazing and she was right. I tried on the Donna heels and I absolutely loved them, I didn’t come away with a pair in the end as I really wanted some boots, but the purple ones are on my list to get before Christmas as they are so smart and stylish.

Hotter aren’t just for women

Hotter do have a fantastic range of men’ shoes.  Whilst I had the time, I did drag myself away from the women’s to have a quick look for my husband.  The first thing that struck me was how light the men’s shoes are as all of my husband’s shoes are really heavy.  Hotter have created men’s shoes that have a shock-absorbing lightweight sole and the same comfort and quality as the women’s collection.  I have managed to convince my husband that his next pair of shoes will be from Hotter as he walks miles on his average day at school and I know that he will love them as much as I do.

Hotter are a successful British company

Hotter are a great British success story.  It all started in 1996 with one style of shoe in a range of colours available by mail order and now there are 70 Hotter stores in the UK with a strong online presence not only in the UK but also in America.

The Hotter Bus

I receive a regular Blogger email from Hotter with updates and information and a few months ago they introduced the Hotter Bus and I was hooked.  It is a little knotted bus and it is super cute.  There was a knitting pattern too which actually made me want to learn how to knit as I would love to make my own.  One of the highlights of Shoesie Tuesday was seeing the Hotter Bus and there may be more Hotter Buses in the pipeline.  I think a pink one would be perfect.

Did I mention how comfortable they are?

Seriously, they are.  Try them for yourselves.  I came away with a pair of boots; Wiltshire in black (pictured below) and they are so lovely to wear.  I also bought a pair of Shake flat shoes in green as I have loved my black pair so much this summer.

I used to think Hotter was old-fashioned but they have re-defined their brand so much. A great example of how to work well with bloggers.

They do look (and sound) fantastic. I’ve never had a pair myself, but my husband has been wearing them for a couple of years and would never go back to any other brand for work. He’s even converted his colleagues!
