Back to School: Step2wo

Back to School with Step2wo Girls Shoes

Something that I do believe is worth spending money on is children’s shoes.  Children need to have their feet measured regularly and they need good quality, good fitting shoes, especially school shoes, as they wear them for several hours a day. As much as I hate to say that my mother was right, I always had solid school shoes when I was young and looking back I can see why.  I needed good fitting shoes and the ones with thicker heels which were more expensive lasted well and stood up to the daily tests that school life throws at them.
Step2wo London have a huge range of designer children’s shoes and it is very easy to get distracted by their brilliant range and there Back to School range does not disappoint with a collection of styles to suit which are based on current adult trends.  The shoes are high quality and look great, yet they are solid and well-made which for me is the biggest selling point of this range. Step2wo are part of the Rayne shoe making family, who have been in the industry since 1885.   They are currently the children’s shoe concession in Selfridges & Harvey Nichols and have just opened up in Fenwicks in Brent Cross and they are also available online.
Step2wo School Shoes for Boys

One thing that has surprised me this year with my daughter is how hard she has been on her shoes. Having had three boys before her, I was shocked by the state of her first pair of shoes within weeks of starting back in September and so I knew that we were going to have to look for something quite sturdy for her. I chose the Jodie Bar School Shoe as this ticked all of the boxes; fashionable, comfortable and sturdy and they are absolutely perfect.

We both love the shoes.  A said that they were the most comfortable shoes she has ever worn and for me they look as though they are strong enough to withstand any thing that she puts them through.

The Step2wo collection is a designer collection and the prices do reflect this.  The Jody shoes start at £62 and like many of the girl’s styles, they are available in black leather and black patent. This is slightly more than I would usually pay for school shoes but looking at the quality of these shoes, I think it is worth paying more for something that is made to last.

We were sent a pair of shoes from Step2wo for the purpose of this review.  All opinions are our own.
