Seven Days on the #SlimFastChallenge

Seven Days on the #SlimFastChallenge

Have I mentioned how much I love SlimFast? I have been working with them on and off for over a year now and I absolutely love the SlimFast 3-2-1 plan.  It is the first diet that I have found easy to stick to.  It is the first diet that has worked for me.  It is the first diet where I have actually enjoyed.

The 3-2-1 plan is very simple and incorporates SlimFast shakes, meal replacement bars, noodle boxes and snacks with one 600 (800 for men) calorie main meal in an easy to follow and stick to diet plan.  Last year, I lost a stone and a half with the help of SlimFast, but then Christmas and the New Year saw me slipping back into bad habits and I put 6 pounds back on.  Luckily, the #SlimFastChallenge came to my rescue.  Over the last few weeks, I eased myself back in gently by doing the odd day of SlimFast and then this week, I have done seven whole days, sticking to the plan.  I used the SlimFast starter pack which is just perfect as it gives you all of the meal replacements and snacks you need for seven days and then I added in a healthy meal in the evening.

The SlimFast website is a really useful resource for helping you with tips and recipes but this time I also had the app to help me with my weight loss and I have found it so useful, not only to track my progress but also to have quick and easy access to motivational tips, meal plans, links to the SlimFast community and social media links, recipes and more.

There is a tracker where you can keep track of your weight loss and also exercise that you have done and water you have drunk along with space for a daily diary to note down how you feel about the day.  There is even a really cool SlimFast Transformation Gif which allows you to upload photos of yourself and puts them together into a gif to show your weight loss.  I am not brave enough to use it yet as I still don’t like photos of myself, but I would love to do it in a couple of months when I have lost a bit more.

Overall the seven days went really well.  Having done the SlimFast plan before, I quickly settled into the routine and I love that the meal replacements are all so easy and I just grabbed what I needed each day for work without having to give it any thought at all.  The snacks are a massive help as they are all delicious and you get to satisfy chocolate or sweet cravings when you need to without deviating from the plan.

So how did I do?  Having put a few pound back on, I was aiming to have lost some, if not all of the weight and I can now reveal that in seven days, I lost six pounds.  Six pounds!! I am really thrilled.  I didn’t feel hungry and I didn’t feel as though I was depriving myself.  SlimFast is so easy to stick to I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to lose weight and I am determined now to keep going and lose some more, with the help of SlimFast of course.

Oh this sounds like something I would love to try out. I love the slimfast shakes didn’t realize they did other things. I will have to check it out. Would love to loose the six pounds I gained over christmas. If you don’t feel hungry that’s even better. I like that it gives you a meal planner. I can follow things it’s just harder once I get off diets to stay healthy.

Wow, I’m impressed that you lost 6lb in a week! Glad it wasn’t hard to do. I’m not sure I could manage it! The GIF sounds like a really good idea.
