This month, we were sent the Aquabeads 3D Animals Set which is a little bit different to the usual Aquabeads sets as it comes with a clever little 3D layout tray so that you can create the 3D part of your design.
The set includes over 500 Aquabeads which is enough beads to complete all of the different animal designs which are a panda, ladybird, lion, chicken and tortoise and along with the 3D layout tray you have the templates for each design and instructions. This is a refill pack, so you would need to buy a bead tray, bead pen, and water sprayer if you didn’t already have one.
As with all Aquabead sets, this is really easy to use and within minutes, you can create really cool designs, spray, leave to dry and you have some cool creations. My daughter liked the 3D element of these designs as she felt she could then play with them alongside other toys and she also liked the combination of jewel and solid beads as this makes the designs more interesting. With the layout tray, you may have to give the design a bit of a helping hand to get it out but apart from that, it is really simple to use.
As a parent, I love Aquabead sets as they help fine motor skills, inspire creativity and imagination but are really simple to set up and use and are of course mess free (well apart from chasing the odd beads that roll off the table) and the end results are always really cute.
