So many of the lovely things we review on this blog are for the children and when I had the chance to review a hair towel from AQUIS, I was quite excited that this would be something for me. What a treat! Then this happened.
Once I got to use it. Once. I foolishly left it hanging in the bathroom and beady-eyed miss soon spotted it and innocently asked me what it was when we were brushing our teeth one morning. Now it is permanently on her head and an integral part of her morning shower routine!
So, what is an AQUIS Hair Towel?
This is no ordinary towel. AQUIS hair towels have been designed not only to dry hair quickly but also protect it. As it says on the packaging, hair is more prone to damage when it’s wet and constant drying from a hair drier is not the solution. The AQUIS hair towels offer an alternative solution. Made from Aquitex, a lightweight fabric which is made up of ultra-fine strands, the fabric absorbs water quickly and evenly protecting the hair without pulling or snagging.
Does it work?
I have to say that it does. Although I have only tried it once myself, it is making a real difference with my daughter’s hair. She likes to have a shower in the morning and especially on the colder mornings, it can be tricky to get her hair dry before we leave. Having fairly long hair she now wraps it up in the AQUIS towel and does feel much drier when I take the towel off. She leaves it on for a few minutes and there is no need to rub the towel as any excess water has been absorbed
Her hair is looking healthy. If I do need to blow dry, it only takes a couple of minutes which saves me a lot of time.
My daughter absolutely loves her AQUIS towel and luckily it washes and dries really quickly too as she wants to use it every day.
