Throw a few beaches and world-class eateries into the mix, and you’ve a recipe for a happy family.
Dubrovnik
Thanks to its appearance on Game of Thrones, Dubrovnik has become something of a draw for British tourists looking for an inexpensive, gorgeous break on the continent. As well as all the stunning history and architecture to enjoy, there’s plenty of beaches, another cable-car trip, and family-friendly restaurants to sample. Moreover, Croatia is a pretty reasonably-priced part of the world, so a trip here won’t bankrupt you.
