Back to School; Welly Warehouse

June 30, 2015 in Reviews

Over the next few weeks, I am going to be featuring a number of Back to School Posts.  Yes, I know it is quite early, but I like to start thinking about September now as it means that I get the best pick of the Back to School ranges and I can relax over the summer holidays in the knowledge that I have everything I need.

Wellies are very important to my daughter and I discovered this from an early age.  The boys were always happy to wear any wellies but not my daughter, oh no, they have to pink or purple, preferably with patterns and the brighter the better.  I bought her a pair of bright pink plain wellies the last time and she explained to me very sincerely that she loved the colour but they weren’t quite right as they were too boring.

So armed with that information I was on the look out for ‘non-boring’ pink wellies and thanks to Welly Warehouse, I found just the thing.  In fact, there were lots of lovely wellies of all shapes, colours and sizes and the only problem I had, was to choose just one pair.

Welly Warehouse really do  have a fabulous range of wellies with some  and something to suit every taste and budget and from a huge selection of brands.  I was immediately drawn to the Bogs wellies as they have handles to make it really easy for little one to pull on their wellies.  I think this is such a genius idea as over the years I have seen my children struggling to get their wellies on.

I think it is safe to say that my daughter was rather pleased with the pair that I chose.  I went for the Bogs Kids Rainboots in Berry Stripe, these seem to tick the bright, pink and not plain boxes. She loves them.  I did buy a size bigger than she is currently as I know that she is a due a shoe growth but even so, she put on a pair of thick socks to give them a try.

She loves them and without prompting, commented on how helpful the handles were when she was putting them on.

She said that they were very comfortable too and she is now hoping for lots of rain so that she can go and jumping in some muddy puddles.  She may not be impressed with the weather forecast this week but I am sure that we will have some rain at some point.

Welly Warehouse really do have a great range of boots and accessories too.  They have fantastic wellies for children and adults too and I was rally impressed with the quick delivery, the quality of the boots and the style.  If you are looking for inspiration for wellies for the new school year I recommend a visit to Welly Warehouse and don’t forget that if your child does Forest School, they will need wellies in September as part of the Forest School kit.

We were sent the wellies by Welly Warehouse as part of this review.  All opinions and pictures are our own.
