National Stationery Week is finally upon us (hurrah!) and for me, that is a full-blown excuse to go out every day that week and treat myself to a new item of stationery. I kid you not. I am a self-confessed stationery obsessive and I will often be found in s stationery shop, aisle of shelf making excited noises. My daughter is usually beside me doing exactly the same as she is worse than me.
From a practical parenting point of view, it is also a good reminder to have a check in your kid’s pencil cases too to see what sort of state they are in. If my sons are anything to go by, there will be a handful of broken pens, a couple of pens that may well have been borrowed, pencils that need sharpening and rubber that have been scrawled all over. I am usually lucky enough to also find the remains of a broken ruler or parts of a geometry set that started off in one piece and now are in several small pieces.

The Maped Graph Peps are amazing. They look super stylish with their thin reflective cases but they are also gorgeous pens to write or colour with. They might just be too nice to pop into a pencil case but they are really good to help with revision notes as you can use them to jazz up notes and make them a little bit more memorable.
The Maped Roller Highlighter is a great addition to any pencil case but another thing that is really useful both in and out of class. As the name would suggest, you roll to highlight and my daughter and I have both taken to using this highlighter as it is effective and fun to use. The Roller Highlighters are a great product and come in five different colours.
The Helix Pepsi Student Set is a perfect set to restock the pencil cases with as it contains two pencils, a ruler, a ballpoint pen, a rubber and a pencil sharpener, all with the Pepsi logon on. It is perfect for teen boys or tween girls apparently (so my daughter assures me.)
